Photo Description This storm was a little unpredictable though as there were a lot of problems south of us, especially in the Atlanta area. There they developed icy roads before people were able to get home. Motorists were stranded on the highways and children had to spend the night at school because they could not get home. I'm sure their parents were frantic. My prayers went out to all of these folks and my family as well. I was so thankful when my daughter, who was driving a long distance home from work in the middle of the night on snow covered roads, got home safe and sound. I could just feel the relief run through my body when she called. You never stop worrying about your children even when they are in their 50s and have a family of their own. Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers.
I love snow, especially when it comes in a couple of inches and is gone in a few days. Here in central North Carolina, we get so excited when the weather man predicts snow.
