These bars may be sugar-free but they are very sweet using natural sugars. They are a delicious treat that is also good for you.
Bring dates, prunes and raisins and water to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes and remove from stove. Then add margarine and cool. Add dry ingredients to fruit and put in a greased pan. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

This is a great low-fat, low cal recipe. Enjoy these bars for breakfast or as a snack.
Cream butter or margarine and sugar together. Gradually beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift the flour and baking powder and stir into the creamed mixture.
Mix with first mixture. Pour into brownie or sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 15 minutes. Watch closely!
