Removing Scorch Marks from Large PotI work for an electric co-op and during a recent ice storm our crews were working around the clock to get lights back on. All the ladies usually go and prepare meals for the guys . We were cooking a spaghetti supper for them. We had big pots of spaghetti cooking and when one of the pots was poured into a collandar we discovered the bottom had stuck and actually scorched on the bottom of a stainless steel pot. I am really having a tough time getting all the scorch marks out. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Reclaiming Scented CandlesI had many glass candle jars that have burned down to the bottom that could not be re-lit but still had quite a bit of wax at the bottom. What I did was purchase a candle warmer. It looks like my plug in coffee cup warmer I keep on my desk.

Problem with 220 Line?I am in the process of installing a subpanel using a pre-existing 220 line that is not being used now, but was used for a water heater. The problem is, measuring accross the hot wire and ground I get a normal reading of 115. Measuring across the neutral and ground I get a reading of 94v. at the main panel, both lines read correctly, 110-115. The cable from the main to the subpanel is short, not more than 3 feet. Both boxes are the old edison type fuses and have been converted to s type. Any input would be appreciated. thanks. Randy

Agressive Lab?I have a 1 1/2yr old Chocolate Lab. He is a great dog, sweet, and well behaved. The only problem is he does not like my one son who is 12. This all started happening about 6 months ago. He had surgery and was away from us for about 5 days,(for swallowing a ball that blocked his intestines) about a week after he was home he started showing signs of agression with certain children, (but not all, like I said he is very sweet)
Keeping Silverware Polished?I have a wonderful full set of hotel silverware that I use for everyday eating. Unfortunately, they get tarnished and become so time consuming to keep clean. So far a gentle rub with SOS or Brillo has gotten it very shiny but doesn't last and is probably destroying the surface. As everyday silverware, tarnished ware is rather unappealing and chemical polishes may not be the healthiest choice. What can I do to keep longer lasting brilliant silver? How in the world do the fast-paced hotels maintain their silver?
