Easy Drop BiscuitsHere is a recipe that is super cheap to make. I usually double the recipe because my family loves them. They go great with soup and are very filling.
Chewy Dunkin' SnacksMix well shortening, sugar, egg, and molasses. Sift and add remaining ingredients. Shape into 1 inch balls. Dip tops in sugar. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 12-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
Scalloped CornbreadMix all ingredients together and put in greased 8x11 inch baking dish. Bake 30 minutes or until turning golden in color.
Sugar 'N Spice Angel Food CakePreheat oven to 375 degrees. In medium bowl, with fork, mix flour, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, confectioner's sugar, and 1/4 tsp. salt; set aside. In large bowl, with mixer on high speed, beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and 1/2 tsp. salt until soft peaks form; beat in vanilla extract.
Lemonade ConcentrateMix well - concentrate can be stored in refrigerator. Add concentrate to 5-6 cup water.

Carrot Curler?When I was a kid we had a carrot curler. Think of it as a vegetable peeler on one end of the gadget, peeling a thin uniform layer of carrot as the vegetable rotates around a small spiked spindle, and hand-powered on the other end of the carrot by turning a crank on the gadget, the carrot being held on the crank end by jamming it into a holder which twirls as the operator turns the crank and applies pressure toward the vegetable-peeler end.
Cleaning Copper Water Pitcher?I have a copper water jug (pitcher) and I have a hard time cleaning it to keep it shiny. I use lemon and salt to rub and clear the deposits formed by water but it takes a lot of time and I don't get the best results. Can anyone tell me any other easier and better method?
