Alma's Pineapple Salad1 cup sugar, 1 cup pineapple juice (from a can of crushed pineapple), 1 egg, 3 Tablespoons cornstarch. Boil till thickened.
Chocolate Buttercream CakeCombine chocolate morsels, half and half, and butter in a saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring until melted and smooth.

Peachy Almond Butter CakeCarefully split each cake layer in half horizontally to make 4 layers. Stack layers, spreading Peach Filling between layers. Cream butter and shortening in a large mixing bowl at medium speed of mixer.
Unstuffed Cabbage SoupIn a large nonstick, soup pot, bring everything, except rice, to a full boil over high heat. Let boil for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat and stir in rice. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
Apricot Filled Chocolate TorteCarefully split cake layer in half horizontally to make 2 layers. Heat apricot preserves in a small saucepan until thinner consistency; press preserves through a sieve. Cool slightly and spread preserves between layers and on top of cake.
Cocoa Crown CakeCombine first 5 ingredients in top of a double boiler. Beat at low speed of mixer 30 seconds or just until blended. Place mixture over boiling water; beat constantly at hight speed 7 minutes or until stiff peaks form.
Basic Light CakeCream shortening; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of mixer. Add eggs to creamed mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

First remove the biased edge, rotary cut the fabric in long six inch strips, alternating the colors as you sew. End the piece so one color is at one end and the other color is at the other end.
