Eggplant Haters Mind ChangerSlice onion and bell pepper into thin slices. Dice eggplant (peeled or unpeeled) into 1/2 inch cubes. On medium high heat, add 1 Tbsp. oil to large frying pan (or pot).

 

Pepsi CakeBeat 1st 6 ingredients for 2 minutes. Put pecans in bottom of greased Bundt pan. Pour cake batter in next. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes. Fix icing while cake is in oven, as it will be poured over the hot cake while still in the pan.

 

Sausage CakeRemove sausage from refrigerator about 20 minutes before using. In a large mixing bowl, mix b. sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and black walnuts. Dissolve baking soda in the cup of coffee and pour in b. sugar mixture; stir. Stir in flour and blend well. Can be baked in two 9 inch.

 

Shoestring Potato CookiesMelt butterscotch morsels and peanut butter in a double boiler. Pour mixture over coconut, walnuts and shoestring potatoes. Shape into cookies and place on wax paper lined cookie sheet. Place in refrigerator till set.

 

Easy Oyster CasseroleButter a casserole dish. Crumble enough crackers to cover the bottom of the dish, about 1/4 inch deep. Add 1 can drained oysters. Cover with another layer of cracker crumbs. Dot generously with butter.

 

No Cook Mint PattiesBlend margarine, corn syrup, peppermint extract and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add p. sugar and mix with spoon or hands till smooth.

 

Chocolate OverdoseBake brownies according to the package directions. Cool. Slice brownies to desired size and place each on separate dessert plates.

 

Devilish Pecan PiePreheat oven to 325 degrees F. In an med. size mixing bowl, mix together pecans and choc. chips; pour into bottom of pie shell. In same mixing bowl, beat eggs well; add honey and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in margarine.

 

Storing An Extra Roll of Toilet PaperIf you do not have cabinet bathroom storage space, or it just is not close enough to the toilet, store a spare toilet paper roll this way. Cut the bottom out of a tall square type Kleenex box and slip it over the top of the roll.

 

Improving Sandy SoilRabbit food (alfalfa pellets) makes a wonderful, inexpensive, natural fertiliser. Simply sprinkle several handfuls around established plants and scratch into the soil, then water well. In a few minutes, it will 'melt'.

Melted Plastic on Chrome?Trying to remove a melted stain off my wife's chrome plated exhaust pipes on her motorcycle. She touched her hot exhaust pipes with her nylon motorcycle rain pants and it melted right to the exhaust pipes. I have tried everything I know to clean this up with no luck at all. Don't want to use anything abrasive that will damage the chrome exhaust pipes. Any ideas or suggest would be helpful.

Soaking Clothing in a Frontloading Washing Machine?I have a Kenmore Elite frontloading washing machine. Does anyone have any ideas or tricks to let a load of laundry soak? I really miss letting certain clothes to soak overnight. I've tried starting the load & letting it wash for a while & then stopping/pausing it, hoping that would do the trick. But no such luck, it lets the water drain out & then my clothes smell badly.
