Tomato and Herb SoupIn large saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat. Add onion, cook and stir until tender, but not browned. Add tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, basil, thyme, salt and pepper; stir well and bring to a boil.
Hot Cranberry CiderIn Dutch oven, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, simmer 30 minutes. Discard spices. Serve hot.

Garlic Sour Cream Mashed PotatoesCut potatoes into 1 inch pieces. Place potatoes and garlic in 2 qt. saucepan. Cover with water; bring to a boil over high heat. Cover; reduce heat and cook 8-10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
