Sloppy JoseBrown turkey, drain, add cheesy sauce and chili powder to taste (+/- 1 tsp.) and voila, quick, cheap yummy, and easy!

 

Cookie Ice Cream SandwichesSpread peanut butter over the bottom of six cookies. Top with a scoop of ice cream. Top with another cookie; press down gently. Roll sides of ice cream sandwich in chocolate chips. Wrap in plastic wrap.

 

Holly's Green Bean SaladI made a very interesting, spicy green bean salad (like potato salad) with little bits of veggies from the fridge that was so tasty, it became a family favorite.

 

Bacon-Tomato Bagel MeltsPlace bagel halves cut side up on a baking sheet. Top each with two tomato slice and two bacon strips. Sprinkle with cheese. broil 5 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes or until cheese begins to melt.

 

Flavorful Beef Stir-FryIn a bowl, combine cornstarch, sugar, soy sauce and apple juice or water until smooth. Add beef and toss to coat; set aside. In a large skillet, stir-fry broccoli, carrots, pea pods and onion in 1 Tbsp. oil for 1 minute.

 

Brat 'n' Kraut SupperIn a large skillet, saute onions in butter until tender. Add the potatoes, sauerkraut, broth, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, caraway seeds, bay leaf and pepper.

 

Peach Meringue PieAdd vanilla and salt to egg whites and beat until stiff and peaks form. Beat in sugar, 2 Tbsp. at a time. Fold in cracker crumbs, nuts and baking powder.
