Cherry SquaresTwo recipes for Cherry Squares

 

Hot Pepper JellyMix sugar, vinegar and peppers and boil 1 minute. Cool 5 minutes. Add fruit pectin. Pour in jars and seal while hot. This makes a pretty jelly for gifts!

 

Onion QuicheRoll out 1 cup Ritz crackers. Saute' onions in butter and add to cracker crumbs. Pat in 9 inch pie tin. Mix milk, eggs, salt and pepper. Pour into prepared pan.

 

Cheddar Cheese BreadIn large bowl, thoroughly mix 2 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and undissolved yeast. Combine water and milk in saucepan and heat over low heat until warm. Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed or electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally.

 

Crockpot V-8 Vegetable SoupPut all ingredients into a crockpot and turn on LOW. Cook all day, then serve.

 

Chocolate RollSift together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. To beaten egg whites, gradually add half of the sugar. To beaten egg yolks, add the remaining half cup of sugar and cold water.

 

Tangy Cold VegetablesMix ingredients together. Marinate in dressing overnight in refrigerator. Keep tightly covered. Drain well before serving. These are good as a salad served over lettuce or use as a side vegetable dish.

 

Chicken and StuffingPrepare stuffing according to directions. Spread in a 9x13 inch dish. Top with layer of chicken which has been cut in small pieces. Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour and seasonings. Add cool broth and stir until thickened.

 

Pumpkin Pie PancakesIn a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, salt and sugar. Whisk in buttermilk, pumpkin, eggs, oil and vanilla extract; blend well.

 

Graham ToffeesPlace crackers in jelly roll pan lined with foil. Combine butter and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil for exactly 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add pecans. Pour mixture over crackers.

Making Lamps with Material?I'm looking for some help on making lamps from material. I recently saw them at a craft show. I thought I had it figured out but I'm wrong. They used an electric candle light. like the welcome lights you see in the windows of houses. I know they attached the candle base on a block, wrapped material around the bottom about half way up the candle. I thought they used fiber fill to make the material look puffy. I tried fiber fill but it made it look lop sided so that didn't work for me. Does any one have any idea how they're made?
