Louie's ChiliI call this Louie's chili as it was based off of my late dad's recipe when we were growing up. The only thing I changed was using V-8 juice instead of tomato juice. (V-8 didn't exist yet when we were kids).
Sweet and Sour Red CabbageSaute' onion in butter until tender. Add cabbage, cloves, salt and boiling water. Cover with tight fitting lid. Simmer 15 minutes. Add apples. Simmer 1 hour. If necessary, add more water.

Slow-Cooker MeatballsIn a bowl, mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, onion, and egg. Shape the mixture into 16 balls. In a slow cooker, mix the spaghetti sauce, crushed tomatoes, and tomato puree.
Beef RollHave flank steak deeply scored. Mix egg, vegetables, salt and crumbs together. Spread vegetable stuffing on flake steak; roll and tie with string.
