Chickpea and Black Bean HummusNot so long ago I submitted this salad recipe to ThriftyFun. I wanted to submit it a second time because I came up with a fantastic recipe which is very nutritious, and low in fat.

 

Glazed Lemon BreadBlend melted margarine and 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add almond extract. Sift dry ingredients. Add to egg mixture, alternating with milk.

 

Sausage Noodle CasseroleSaute' sausage until lightly browned. Last few minutes of browning, add onion, green pepper and celery. Drain off grease. Stir in remaining ingredients, except almonds.

 

Fruit and Cake Mix MuffinsOnce again, I have to thank the person who submitted the Weight Watchers muffin recipe using pumpkin and cake mix. My husband and I are responsible for donuts and muffins for our church.

 

Different Apple PieMix apples, sugar and seasonings. Pour into pie shell, and dot with butter. Cover with following topping. For Topping: Mix flour, sugar and butter until crumbly.

 

Brunch Egg BurritosIn a large skillet, cook potatoes in 2 Tbsp. butter over medium heat for 6 to 7 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
