Lord Charleys Corn ChowderI once had corn chowder in a restaurant called Lord Charleys that was absolutely delicious. After many attempts to duplicate the recipe, I've come as close as possible without knowing the exact ingredients used and find it delicious. I hope you too will enjoy it.

 

Hungarian GoulashA tasty recipe for making Hungarian Goulash.

 

Honey-Crunch Nut BarsGrease 9 inch square pan. Put margarine, honey, brown sugar, and cinnamon into 3 qt. pan, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Add noodles and gently stir (fold) until coated.

 

Frozen Pineapple and Cheese SaladTake 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, 1 cup crushed pineapple (not too much juice). . .

 

Crab Dip (To Die For)Blend cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, milk, and Tabasco sauce until smooth and creamy. Fold in green onions, crab meat, and salt and pepper (or optional seasoning).

 

Layered Southwestern Pasta SaladPrepare pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water. Drain again. Toss with oil and sprinkle with cumin.

 

Tender 'n' Tangy Ribs (Crockpot)I've never been in favor of doing ribs in a crockpot, but after trying this recipe several years ago, this is now the only way I'll cook the country boneless pork spareribs.

 

Easy Chocolate Cherry CakeCombine dry cake mix, eggs, and cherry pie filling in a bowl. Mix well by hand. Spread mixture into a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until cake tests done.

 

Famous Ham LoafSoak crumbs in milk for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to crumbs. Mix well and pat well into shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/4 hours.

 

Fruit Cocktail CookiesThis recipe is something my mom made for us when we were growing up. It is a different kind of cookie, you add fruit cocktail to it. I hope you will like it because we loved it and my kids love it. It has a really good taste to it.

 

Gourd AngelsPick your gourds, wash in dish soap and bleach, let dry, about an hour. Pick which colors of acrylic paint you want to use on the dress, and skin tone for the face and you are ready to paint. When you are finished painting, set aside and let dry, I always let them dry overnight just to be sure.
