Maize and Mince Balls With Tomato SauceBring water and salt to boil in a heavy-based saucepan. Slowly pour in maize meal, stirring constantly until smooth. Cover with lid, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Heat margarine in heavy-based saucepan.
Special K BarsMelt sugar and syrup over low heat until dissolved. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Mix into Special K cereal. Spread in pan.

Quiche Crust Using LeftoversPreheat oven to 400 degrees. From your leftovers, take cooked spaghetti and rice, to make about 3-4 cups per pie. With kitchen shears, cut the spaghetti into small 2 inch pieces. Add the rice, add 2 eggs per crust, a few handfuls of Parmesan or mozzarella cheese, salt and your own seasonings to taste.
Fake SteakCombine first 5 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into balls. Wrap with bacon, securing with toothpicks. Brown on all sides in skillet. Pour off drippings. Combine remaining ingredients with 1/2 cup water in bowl, blending well.

Preacher's CakeMix ingredients together by hand. Bake in a greased and floured 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes. Cool, then frost.
Cashew Broccoli SaladMix broccoli (can use cauliflower instead), onion, raisins, and bacon; add cashews just before adding dressing. Mix dressing and let set until dissolved. Add to salad immediately before serving.

Blooming LilacI planted this Lilac late June and am very surprised how fast it grew, it was so small, and it is actually blooming! I thought it would take a second year before it would bloom. I am so excited, I planted it right by a window so I can enjoy the smell.
