Potato Quiche IdahoPrick potatoes with fork. Bake at 425 degrees F for 45-50 minutes or until tender. Cut hot potatoes in half, scooping out pulp into bowl. Mash potato pulp well. Add 1 beaten egg, 1 teaspoon salt, white pepper and 1 teaspoon nutmeg, mixing well.

Beef and Barley SaladHeat 2.5 cups of stock. Add barley, garlic and salt to taste (depends on the salt in the broth) it should be slightly salty. Stir and bring to boil, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes until tender but firm.

Blueberry Monkey BreadPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Thoroughly grease a 10 inch tube pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Cut biscuits into quarters. Roll each piece in cinnamon sugar mixture. Arrange 1/4 of the biscuits and blueberries in pan.

I find myself frequently potting cuttings off plants that need to be separated to share with others. Use a Bathroom Rug to Move FurnitureRecently I needed to switch furniture in two rooms in my house. I have beautiful hardwood floors that are 57 years old and was afraid of scratching them. The furniture I needed to move (by myself) was heavy, big pieces and cumbersome. I thought about getting some of those mover thingies you put under the legs to move things but I didn't trust them to not scratch the floors.

You can even use these toys as "bribery", as in "If you keep your voices down and don't fight with your sister for the next hour, I have a new toy for you.
