Cranberry Pecan SpreadMix and refrigerate till needed. Serve with assorted crackers. Instead of the orange flavorings, use 1 Tbsp. concentrated orange juice.

 

Potato Bacon ChowderFry bacon until crisp in a 3 qt. sauce pan. Add onion and saute for 2-3 minutes. Pour off fat and add potatoes and water. Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.

 

Refrigerator Cherry DessertUse a large bowl. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat until fluffy. Place half the crumbs in a buttered 9x13 inch pan. Spread butter mixture over crumbs.

 

Watermelon CookiesYou really have to allow yourself some space and time to make these. They are time consuming, but I won First Prize in 1998 at the Oregon State Fair for them, so for me, they were worth it.

 

Aussie ChickenRub the chicken breasts with seasoning salt. Cover and refrigerate the chicken for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cook the bacon, until crisp, and set aside.

 

Cream of Cauliflower and Pepper SoupMelt the margarine in a large saucepan and saute the onions, celery and leeks. Pour in the chicken broth, followed by the cauliflower, potatoes, parsley and savory.

 

Cran-Raspberry SaladDissolve the gelatins in 2 cups hot water. Add to this the frozen cranberry relish and raspberries. Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1 cup of 7-Up; finally add the 1/2 cup chopped nuts and refrigerate.

 

Asparagus, Potato and Tomato Scrambled EggsBeat eggs and milk just slightly. Heat the asparagus in small pan, lightly stirring occasionally. Melt butter in skillet over medium heat.

 

Easy Pie CrustMix the first 4 ingredients together then beat together the next 3 ingredients. This makes 3 crusts. Refrigerate 1 hour and separate into 3 balls. You can put into pie pan either rolled out on floured board or if you aren't good at that, piece it by hand and make a pretty edge.

 

Chocaroon CakeBeat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar. Beat until mixture forms stiff shiny peaks. Blend in flour and coconut; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in large mixer bowl. Blend.
