Macaroni Garden SaladIn a bowl, combine the macaroni, tomato, cucumber, red pepper, basil, and parsley.

 

Two Dairy Free Mixes in a JarI know a few people who are lactose intolerant and myself I don't eat dairy. I wanted to make some dry mixes for them for gifts, here are two recipes I came up with. Both worked out great!

 

Short Cut Lemon PieMix pudding mix, sugar and water in saucepan. Cook until thick and stir in the beaten egg yolks. Remove from stove. Stir in butter. Add lemon juice and pour into baked crust.

 

Apple SlawIn large bowl, combine cream, mayonnaise and sugar. Core apple, diced but do not peel. Add diced apple and cabbage to mayonnaise mixture. Fold in pineapple. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

 

Pumpkin Shaped Cheese BallMix all ingredients together & form a ball. Place on serving dish. Use fingers or a knife to score down the sides like a pumpkin. Place in refrigerator overnight so that all the flavors can come together.

 

Soft Sugar CookiesCream together first 6 ingredients. Mix rest of ingredients and form into balls 2 inches in diameter. Roll in sugar and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree F oven for 10 minutes.

 

Basic Fresh Pies All Year LongMy family loves pie best of any dessert. I use to make my own pie crust, but today I watch for pie crust on sale at the grocery store. Enjoy!

 

Cottage Meat LoafIn large bowl, combine beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, mustard and pepper. Add meat, cottage cheese, onion and green pepper; mix lightly but thoroughly. Shape into a loaf in baking pan.

 

Turn Shower Off When LatheringGet wet first when showering, and then turn the shower off. Clean body all over, and turn the shower back on to rinse and remove soap. I use a lot less water this way.

 

Luan Plywood FlooringLuan plywood stained with a natural cedar stain and sealed with polyurethane. Nail down with brad nails. I put another coat of polyurethane on it to seal seams where joined.

 

Baby Sweater SetFor the sweater and cap you crochet 18 granny squares for sweater. Sew them together run ribbon around neck and sleeves, tie a bow. For the cap you crochet 4 granny squares, sew together, sew ribbon on to tie under chin, crochet a border around the cap and the sweater.

 

Roxy (African Pygmy Hedgehog)Roxy is an African Pygmy Hedgehog and is 6 months old. I got her from a breeder. She likes to hide in my sweater.
