1-2-3 Lemon CookiesMix all ingredients together with spoon our electric mixer. Form into small balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with fork to flatten. Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes.
Chicken 'Stuff'In a 9x11 inch pan, place the chicken in a single layer and over with the Swiss cheese. Spread the cream of mushroom soup over the cheese. Sprinkle the water chestnuts over the soup.
Iowa Chocolate CakePut shortening and sugar in bowl and cover with boiling water. Stir this mixture. Sift dry ingredients twice and add to hot mixture. Then add eggs and vanilla. Batter will be thin. Pour into 9x13 inch greased pan.
ScotcharoosCook sugar, syrup and peanut butter slowly for 5 minutes. Then stir in Rice Krispies. Press in 9x13 inch pan. Frost with chocolate chips and butterscotch chips melted over hot water. Spread over Rice Krispies mixture and cut when cool.
Health BarsIn a small bowl stir in honey, vanilla, and peanut butter. Add dry ingredients; blend thoroughly. Mix with your hands to make sure all dry ingredients have been well coated. Pack in a lightly greased 9 X 12 teflon pan.
