Easy Peanut Butter BarsStir first 4 ingredients together, add the prepackaged cookie mix. Grease/spray a 9x13 inch pan. Put batter into pan, spreading evenly. TIP: if hard to do, dip/heat table spoon in hot water, smooth with back side of spoon.

 

Breakfast EggsLine bottom of greased 9x13 inch pan with bread free of crusts. Sprinkle 1 pound of fried, crumbled bacon over bread. Spread grated cheese over this. Mix eggs, milk and salt. Pour over dry mixture. Let set overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Can also add ham, sausage, turkey and/or mushrooms.

 

Chipper Peanut CandyIn large saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter. Stir until well blended. Remove from heat. Add potato chips and peanuts, and mix well. Press into aluminum foil-lined 8 or 9 inch square pan.

 

Easy Cherry CobblerMelt margarine in 8 inch square dish. Beat flour, sugar, milk and baking powder with mixer. Pour into melted margarine. Do not stir. Pour can of cherries in center. Do not stir. Pour 1/2 cup sugar on top of cherries. Do not stir.

 

Double Cheese Hamburger CasseroleCook noodles as directed on package. In large skillet, cook and stir ground beef, onion, and celery until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir in tomato sauce and salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 1 minute.

 

Snappy Picnic BeansPan fry chopped onions in bacon drippings until slightly tender. Add remaining ingredients except beans and cook together until mixed. Pour sauce over beans in a casserole. Mix and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

 

Mystery PieBeat first 4 ingredients until stiff. Add crackers and nuts. Shape into greased pie pan; bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.

 

Ham It Up Skillet DinnerPlace ham (with liquid) in a 10 inch skillet; break up with a fork. Add noodles, sauce, cut broccoli, water and onion. Heat to boiling over high heat, stirring occasionally, reduce heat and cover. Simmer, stirring frequently, until desired consistency, 15-20 minutes.

 

Grandmother's Chicken and DumplingsCombine chicken, salt, pepper, and about 6 cups water in a Dutch or large pot. Bring to a boil; cover and simmer 2 hours or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from broth; cool. De bone chicken. If necessary, add more water to broth.

 

Open Face SandwichesGrind together the Spam, onion, American cheese, and green pepper. Sprinkle sugar over the top and also ketchup. Mix well. Spread on halves of hamburger buns. Heat in broiler about 5-7 minutes.

If you don't sew, a safety pin will do the trick. I had many of those drawstrings and cords to get pulled back into the opening, before I started doing this.
