Southwestern Chicken SkilletSprinkle chicken with lemon juice, and set aside. In a large skillet, saute garlic in oil for 1 minute. Add the peppers, onion, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper and pepper Flakes. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Caramel Toffee SquaresThese easy to make caramel toffee squares are super tasty.
Pulled Pork (Crockpot)Use hamburger or hot dog buns. If you plan to serve the pulled pork with coleslaw, hot dog buns work best. The hot dog buns work well for kids too.
Corned Beef SandwichMix all ingredients together. Butter hamburger buns and spread mixture on fairly thick. Wrap individually in foil. Broil 20-25 minutes. These are great man-sized sandwiches and they freeze and keep well.
Old-Fashioned Homemade NoodlesBeat eggs and add milk, baking powder, salt, and flour enough to make stiff. Knead and roll out. Cut and cook 10-15 minutes. Need not be dried.
Apple Cobbler SurprisePreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine apples and lemon juice. In large saucepan, combine marshmallows, candies and cornstarch. Stir in water and margarine. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until candies are melted. Stir in apples.
Two Hundred Dollar CakeMix well red food coloring and cocoa; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and coloring mixture. Mix well. Sift together flour and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk.
