Seafood TacosPlace in sauce pan. Simmer for 15 minutes. Ladle approximately 2 oz into soft taco shell. Serve with Tabasco and fresh lemon slice on the side.

 

Make Your Own Nut and Seed MilksNot only are nut and seed milks much better for you then cow's milk but also very easy to digest. Perfect for those with soy allergies and who are lactose intolerant. They are also very simple to make!

 

Fruit BreadCream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift flour and soda and add alternately with banana to egg mixture. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour into oiled large loaf or 2 small loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

 

Baked BroccoliCook broccoli. Drain. Mix soup and milk, heat to boiling. Stir in pimento and water chestnuts. Arrange broccoli in shallow baking dish. Pour soup mixture on top. Sprinkle buttered crumbs on top and bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

 

Fudge Scotch SquaresMix ingredients well and press mixture into a very well greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes. Cool for 45 minutes and cut into squares.

 

Cheddar Cheese MushroomsThese can be prepared ahead of time until you are ready to bake. Delicious!

 

MaidritesPut ketchup, water, chili powder in saucepan over direct heat and boil 7 minutes. Add hamburger, onion, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir until hamburger is broke up. Cook about 30 minutes.

 

Salmon Noodle RomanoffHeat oven to 325 degrees F. Cook noodles as directred on package; drain. Mix noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, red pepper sauce, salt and salmon.

 

Almond Cranberry LoafIn a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs, milk, butter and vanilla. Sprinkle with cranberries and almonds, and stir just until combined.

 

Homemade Green Laundry DetergentPour hot water in a empty milk bottle or a detergent bottle. Then add all ingredients and shake to mix. 1/2 cup for small load, 1 cup for large load.

Painting Vinyl Wall Panels?I live in a manufactured (double-wide) home. The walls are vinyl-coated panels with strips of vinyl-coated wood at the meeting of two panels. I'd like to remove the strips, then re-surface and paint the walls. I'm thinking of using a technique which comprises painting the walls, applying crinkled tissue paper to the wet paint, then painting a second coat. I'd apply spackle to the gaps, then apply the tissue. Is this feasible?
