Mushroom and Asparagus SoupAdd can of mushrooms to either celery or asparagus soup. This makes a good combination. To this add 1 can milk; stir well while heating, then serve. With this serve croutons.
Meatballs with RiceI can remember having this at least once every month. It was my fav.
Butterscotch BiscuitsSift together flour, baking powder and salt into a mixing bowl. With pastry blender cut in 1/2 cup firm butter. Beat egg slightly, add milk and vanilla and beat to combine. Stir into flour mixture. Roll out dough thinly on lightly floured board.
Fancy Ham Egg ScrambleIn large skillet, cook onion in margarine until tender. Ad ham, eggs and scramble until set. Add mushrooms and cheese sauce. Mix slightly. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and simmer to desired consistency.
Ham-Cheese LoafSprinkle gelatin on cold water to soften. Add very hot water and stir until gelatin is thoroughly dissolved. Add vinegar and salt. Chill until mixture mounds when dropped from spoon.
Walnut Cinnamon-Apple SaladHeat sugar, water and cinnamon candies in a saucepan over low heat until candy is dissolved. Pare and core apples. Place in syrup. Cover and cook very slowly until tender but not broken. The apples should be bright red.
Venison ChiliYummy Deer Stew Meat Chili! This is a great chili recipe I created. A little on the spicy side, but very good! I used a big wok for the whole meal.
Fruity Green Salad
In a salad bowl, toss the greens, pears, and cherries. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, honey, salt and pepper. Drizzle over salad and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
Colored CornbreadI serve this when I get tired of yet another plain can of veggies. Will last for two meals, and is a great breakfast item too.
Microwave Doggie DoughnutsThe great thing about these dog treats is that you can make them in your microwave. It's really nice in summer so you don't heat up kitchen.

Reuse Packing Paper for CraftsNow that many places are using recycled or green packing materials, we get lot of brown scrunched paper in the boxes when we order items online. If you unscrunch and smooth out that paper, it's often 4-6 feet long and 2-3 feet wide.
