Orange and Nut Honey BreadVersatile for every day as well as holiday meals. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Cream shortening and honey in bowl. Add egg and orange rind; mix well. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with juice, mixing well after each addition.

 

Turkey, Celery, Grape and Nut SaladSimple, very colorful, and very healthy. In a medium bowl, put turkey chopped into medium size pieces. Cut grapes into four pieces. Slice celery.

 

Barbecued SalmonThis is hands down the best recipe I've tried in months! In small saucepan over medium heat, stir butter with honey and sugar until butter melts.

 

SconesLight and fluffy, ideal morning or afternoon tea. Rub butter into flour so goes crumbly. Add milk and mix so like a sticky dough. Put onto floured cutting board and cut into shapes or cut with glass that has been dipped in flour so it doesn't stick.

 

Taco MeatloafNice twist on meatloaf. Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl; mix well. Add enough spaghetti sauce to make of desired consistency. Pat 1/4 inch thick on waxed paper. Sprinkle with taco seasoning and cheese.

 

Peachy Tapioca SaladEasy, every-day salad. Drain peaches, reserving juice. Add enough water to reserved juice to measure 3 cups. Combine with gelatin and pudding mix in saucepan. Bring to a boil; cool.

 

7-Up CakeCream together 3 sticks butter and 3 cups sugar for 20 minutes. Add 5 eggs, one at a time. Add 8 cups flour and 2 tablespoons lemon extract. Fold in 3/4 cup of 7-Up. Pour into greased 9x13 inch pan in a 325 degree F oven for 1 1/4 hours.
