Chocolate Tapioca PuddingVery good dessert. Scald 1 cup milk in top of double boiler. Add tapioca; cook 20 minutes or until tapioca is transparent. Stir frequently. Beat egg yolk. Add sugar and salt. Put tapioca mixture with egg yolk.

 

Fish With Vegetable SauceWhen baking or sauteing fish, try this cheap and healthy recipe. Place last 4 ingredients in blender or food processor until minced. Wash a dry fish fillets and then apply veggie mixture.

 

Creamy Broccoli SoupIn large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender. With whisk stir in flour and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt; gradually add milk, stirring constantly, and bring to a boil. Add broth, broccoli and carrots.

 

Peanut Butter WhipWhip butter in mixer until creamy, add peanut butter; whip until fluffy and smooth. Add honey; whip until smooth.

 

Baked Fruit DessertThis is a simple recipe that I used many times to satisfy my large family when we worked in a plant and produce business in Knoxville, TN. We always had the few ingredients, and it is easy and quick to make.

 

Shrimp PaellaIn a medium saucepan prepare undrained tomatoes and rice mix according to rice package directions, about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, rinse shrimp, pat dry with paper towels.

 

Chicken With RiceSprinkle dry soup on bottom of ungreased 9x13 ovenproof glass dish. Wash rice, and place in layer on top of dry soup. Place chicken parts on top of rice.

 

Easy Chocolate Lunch Box CakeCream sugar and shortening together, add egg yolks. Add remaining dry and liquid ingredients and mix well. Drop by tablespoons on ungreased cookie sheets. They will spread a bit, so leave enough room to allow for this.

 

Save Grease for SuetI am an avid bird feeder. In the winter I save my grease drippings, mix them with seed and pour them in a paper milk container. Put it in the fridge to harden and once hardened tear off the paper. I save my net onion bags and hang the home made suet in them for the birds.
