Creole ZucchiniGreat tasting combination of fresh vegetables which are so plentiful right now. All the ingredients can be found in my little raised garden.

 

Buffalo Chicken MeatballsI don't know about you but I am bored of beef meatballs and also bored of messy buffalo chicken wings so came up with this combination from two of my favorite recipes.

 

Corned Beef CasseroleCombine all ingredients. Top with 3/4 cup buttered bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees F, uncovered, about 45 minutes.

 

Stuffed MushroomsRemove mushroom stems and chop finely . Saute' chopped mushrooms and onions lightly in skillet in small amount of oil. Add bread cubes, garlic salt and lemon juice, tossing to mix.

 

Toy Food From Felt ScrapsI have tons of felt scraps from various felt projects and couldn't bring myself to throw them away. So, using only scraps, I made a variety of felt foods for my daughter, using basic doll stuffing as filler for some of the "puffier" food.

 

Garden: Strawberry PlantsHaving grown up in Western WA state, I picked many strawberries to earn money for school clothes for the next year. I now enjoy the more beautiful aspect of the plant that provides such delightful fruits.

 

Fry Biscuits in Chicken GreaseAfter frying some chicken up in a skillet, open a can of buttermilk biscuits, and deep fry them in the chicken grease. When they are browned on both sides, take them out, and drain on a paper towel. These are so good.

Use Antlers as Garden DecorHello hunters or those married to hunters! Here is how you can decorate your garden. Seal deer (I live in Alaska, so I use caribou and moose) antlers with spray polyurethane or brush on weatherproof sealant. I like to let the sun bleach them white first.
