Walla Walla Sweet SideTasty and healthier than chips. Slice the onion paper thin. Dust with flour and fry in olive oil in non stick skillet.

 

Seafood SaladThis is yummy! Dissolve gelatin in hot water. Combine remaining ingredients and put in mold. Serves 6.

 

Club ChickenMelt butter, blend in flour. Gradually add broth, milk and water; cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add salt, chicken, rice, and vegetables.

 

Braised SteaksThe V8 juice tenderizes the meat nicely; this is a favorite of the men in my family.

 

Buffet MeatballsMix meat ball ingredients and form into medium sized balls. Brown and place in covered baking dish, pour sauce over. Bake 2 1/2 hours in slow oven until meat balls are puffed from absorbing sauce.

 

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream CakeI love ice cream, in fact, my whole family loves ice cream. Who doesn't! My two year old loves it so much that after one helping he says "More, please!"

 

Green Pepper and Tomato SaladThis is a quick and delicious summer salad, chop a large green pepper and two medium size tomatoes into bite size pieces. Place the pieces into a bowl, toss to combine, and sprinkle with Italian salad dressing.

 

"Vintage" CupboardI purchased an unfinished cupboard and primed it. Next I painted it gold and then a coat of red. I made it look old by sanding areas where it might have been worn. I added 3 pictures from and old calendar with decoupage glue and varnished over to protect it.

 

Save Grocery Money in a "Five Dollar Cup"It seemed that the best grocery buys always occurred when I was low on funds or I had a lot to buy that week. I started faithfully putting five dollars in a cup each week, even if it meant I had to knock an item off of the grocery list.
