Brown Spice BreadPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix in order given. Put in 2 (9x5 inch) pans. Bake for 45-60 minutes.

 

Peppermint Christmas CandyIn a double boiler, melt the chocolate (whatever amount you want to use). Add peppermint bits, stir and quickly pour onto a lightly greased cookie sheet, spread. Place sheet into freezer until hard.

 

Apple PuddingAn easy dessert.Cream shortening and sugar together. Add beaten egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients alternately with milk. Place cut up apples in greased baking dish and sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to taste.

 

Herb Marinated CheeseWhether you choose to use basil or cilantro it's a yum, yum. Arrange cheese in one layer on a large shallow dish or platter. If you need to do two layers wait until the first layer is coated with half of the marinade before placing the second layer of cheese.

 

Chex Party MixThis is the original chex mix recipe off the box of General Mills Chex Cereal. This is a great snack mix to put out during the holidays or to even give as gifts!

 

Deviled EggsBoil 6 eggs to hard-boiled stage. Cool completely, peel and slice in half. Mash egg yolk and add above ingredients. Fill egg white cups.
