Fancy Company VegetablesYou can make any vegetable fancy for company by doing the following: Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a saute pan. Slice 3 or 4 cloves of garlic with a potato peeler.

Pumpkin CakeThis is a recipe using only pumpkin puree and cake mix. All you do is mix the puree and the cake mix. Don't add water. It will seam really thick; that's OK.

 

Strawberry Rhubarb JamCombine strawberries, rhubarb and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and add gelatin.

 

Fried Potato CurryCurry that can be eaten with rice or roti. Wash potatoes and boil in water. When cooked remove peel and slice. Heat oil and fry. When cooked, drain on paper towel and keep aside.

 

Basic CrepesCrepes can be filled and topped with just about anything your heart desires for breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a dessert. If using crepes for a meal; chop or shred the ingredients before cooking/heating them.

 

Thrifty CasseroleIn skillet, brown the ground beef and onion. Add seasoning and tomato soup. Simmer 5 minutes. Cook vegetables as directed on package. Combine vegetables and beef mixture.
