Fish in FoilPreheat oven to 450 degrees F. Place each fish portion in the center of a piece of aluminum foil. Season to taste. Place veggies and 2 Tbsp. of water on top of each.

 

Golden Potato SoupCombine the first 10 ingredients. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until vegetables are tender. Stir often so as not to scorch. Mix flour and 1/2 cup milk and add to soup mixture.

 

Beef Barley Vegetable SoupThis recipe has been in my family for over fifty years. It is a hearty, stick-to-your ribs soup. The combination of the barley and the variety of vegetables gives it a wonderful flavor. Rye bread with this soup is a must in our family.

 

5 Star Left OversSaute diced garlic and mushrooms in butter. Add sliced meat, heat until it is warmed thoroughly. Eat as is or serve with rice or noodles.

 

White Beans And Pasta SoupSaute garlic in oil until brown. Add beans, broth, tomatoes and spices and bring to a boil. Reduce to simmer for 20-30 minutes. In separate pan, cook pasta according to directions on package.

 

Swiss KuechliBeat eggs, salt, vanilla,and sugar to a froth. Work in flour to make a stiff dough (make take a little more or less of the 2 cups flour). Break off walnut-size pieces of dough and roll on floured board until tissue paper thin.

 

Gooey Butter CookiesBeat ingredients well, then chill. Roll in balls (ping pong ball size), then roll in powdered sugar. Place well spaced on ungreased cookie sheet (they will spread).

 

Cinnamon Roll SyrupNever sugars and stays creamy. Bring all ingredients to a boil, let cool slightly. Pour into greased bread pan. Top syrup with rolls to let rise.

 

Quick DessertMix ingredients; chill and serve.

 

Lemonade PieMix all ingredients and fold in Cool Whip. Pour into pie crusts and refrigerate until set. Can also freeze, which I think is better!

 

Bulgarian ChickenPlace cabbage in bottom of 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with sauerkraut, then rice. Pour water over mixture. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat, add onion and saute' 6 minutes or until tender.

 

Peanut Crunch SaladToss cabbage and celery together. Chill. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, salt, onion, green pepper, and cucumber in small bowl.
