Italian Rice BallsThis is great to bring to functions (finger food).

 

Prize Winning Peach Coffee CakeThis recipe took first prize in 1990 at the San Bernardino County Fair in Victorville, CA. It is a fairly quick and easy coffee cake to put together and is one of my family's favorites.

 

Easy Cheesy Lemon BarsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine cake mix, margarine, and 1 egg. Stir until moist. Pat in 13x9 inch pan, greased on bottom only. Blend frosting mix into softened cream cheese.

 

Fried Tilapia Fillets with Lemon Caper SauceServe with a salad and light vinaigrette dressing.

 

Tuna Cheese TwistHeat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Mix tuna (drained), celery, green pepper, onion, 1/4 cup soup, salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

 

Baby Ruth BarsHeat sugars and syrups and stir until boiling. Remove; add peanut butter. Pour over cornflakes and peanuts.

 

Sausage PilafBrown sausage; drain off fat. Add celery, onion and green pepper; cook until tender. Combine remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and margarine. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish.

 

Surprise Skillet DinnerPat 3/4 of ground beef in bottom of cold electric skillet. Brown the remaining 1/4 ground beef and set aside. Layer vegetables over meat in skillet. Cover with soup spreading soup to edges of skillet.

 

Dandelion SaladWash and chop dandelion. Cut bacon in pieces and fry crisp. Mix dry ingredients together. Add liquids and pour into skillet. Cook until thickened.

 

Uses for Shredded PaperI save all zip lock bags after many uses when I want to send a package I fill those bags with shredded paper put a note in the package and ask the recipient to save and use in the same way.

 

Recycling Stuffed Toys for StuffingIf you have an abundance of stuffed animals that you want to get rid of, instead of attempting to give them to Goodwill and being rejected or sending them to the landfill, why not use them in another way? Open them up and use the stuffing for other crafts.

 

Fingernail Polish on CarpetI spilled dark wine fingernail polish on my light bedroom carpet. Panic! I grabbed polish remover and poured on it and rubbed with a rag and made a worse mess. By now it was almost dry. Help! Someone said to use Windex of all things.

 

Feed Dog Pills with Cream CheeseI mix my dog's pills in cream cheese and haven't had him spit it out once. I know for a fact that this works really well.

 

Flowers That Will Bloom in OctoberMy son is getting married in October. While we are thrilled about the upcoming events, I may have the rehearsal dinner in our backyard.
