Chicken And Rice L'OrangeCombine rice, orange juice, water and salt in a 2- to 3-quart saucepan. Heat to boiling; stir once or twice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.

 

Spinach With BaconPlace bacon in 1 quart casserole. Cover and microwave on high 4-5 minutes or until crisp; drain bacon and reserve. Drain fat from casserole. Place remaining ingredients in same casserole.

 

Fresh Lemonade SyrupThis lemonade syrup already has everything but water. It's easy to take along on a trip or picnic and make as needed.

 

Spanish Garlic SoupCombine garlic, seasonings, water and oil and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Crumble bread into the soup and return to a boil. Serve with grated cheese.

 

Polynesian BBQ SauceThis is a recipe that I first made with an old gentleman who'd lived most of his life in Hawaii. Growing up during the Second World War left me with a very romantic idea of anything to do with the islands.

 

Easy Peach CrispPreheat oven to 425 degrees F. Pour peaches into lightly buttered 2 quart baking dish. Combine instant oatmeal, flour and nuts in bowl; stir in butter.
