Balsamic Dijon and Shallot DressingThis dressing is good freshly made, but it's even better the next day or two after the flavors have had more time to blend.

 

24 Hour DessertThe things I like best about this dessert are the great taste and the ease of preparation. It is an attractive dessert, as well.

 

Terrifying Tamale PieHeat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook until crisp-tender. Stir in garlic. Add turkey; cook until turkey is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.

 

Beef and Rice FiestaBrown beef in skillet. Add onion and cook over medium heat. Add water, soup, corn, and chili powder. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Cut tomato in eighths and pepper in strips or rings and just lay over top.

 

Pumpkin CheesecakeIn a medium bowl, toss the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon until thoroughly combined. Place 1/4 cup of the mixture into a small bowl and add the candied ginger.

 

Harvard BeetsMix first two ingredients together. Add vinegar and water. Boil 5 minutes. Add beets and butter. Allow to stand over low heat until flavor penetrates.

 

Cheesy Hash BrownsThis is an awesome recipe to take to a pot luck or to go with your main meal. We love it with meatloaf and my kids REALLY love it.

 

Decorated Jack-o'-lantern PancakeGreat way to start the day! Add orange food coloring or orange icing to whipped topping. Frost pancake. Cut a gumdrop in half and place both halves side by side (sticky side down) off the top part of the pancake to make the stem.

 

Rice Pudding DelightI was raised on this rice pudding. Us kids would beg Mom to make extra rice when she made it so we could have this wonderful Rice Pudding Delight.
