Salad DressingMelt butter and stir in flour; cook until smooth. Then add vinegar, water sugar and egg which have been beaten until foamy. Cook until thickened, stirring to keep it smooth.

 

Quick Bean and Beef CasserolePress uncooked ground beef in bottom of 10 inch square casserole. Add salt and pepper to taste. Slice onion and layer on top of beef. Add a layer of the beans and cheese. Top with mushroom soup. Choose noodles or potatoes to use in the casserole.

 

Spicy Peanut Butter Dip In a small saucepan over low heat combine vegetable broth, peanut butter, shallots, Worcestershire, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper, and optional jalapeno.

Potato PancakesCombine eggs, pancake mix, potatoes, and oil. Add enough 7-Up to make a very thin batter; let stand 10 minutes. Fry on hot griddle until done.

 

Day Ahead BroccoliCook broccoli until tender; drain. Mix the following ingredients and pour over top. Don't stir. Put in baking dish. Put in refrigerator overnight. When ready to bake, top with buttered bread crumbs.

 

Cashew ChickenBone chicken breasts and remove skin. Slice horizontally in 1/8 inch thick slices, then cut into inch squares. Cut the green parts of the onions into 1 inch lengths and slice the white part 1/4 inch thick.

Easy Apple CrispMix the first four ingredients together well and pour into butter-greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix the last four ingredients and crumble over the top of apple mixture.
