Sloppy JoesI usually double the recipe. Brown and drain ground beef. Add pepper, onion, and garlic and saute for approximately 5 minutes. Add other ingredients and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

 

Brownie Ice Cream SandwichPrepare the cake pans by greasing them and lining the bottoms (not the sides) with waxed paper. Prepare brownie mix according to the package directions.

 

Raspberry Gelatin SaladDissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Add unthawed raspberries and relish. Chill until set.

 

Meat LoafCombine all ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving.

 

South of the Border PieTo make filling, brown ground beef, onions, and green pepper and drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Bring to a boil; simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until thickened.

 

Chocolate Chip CheesecakeEasy to make and really tasty! Mix cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla together. When thoroughly mixed, stir in 1/2 package mini chocolate chips.

 

Bulgogi (Korean Beef)Don't forget to serve with rice tea. You can find Kimchi in a jar in the produce section of your market, but be forewarned that it is very hot and spicy!

 

Let Meat Rest Before ServingWhen roasting a whole chicken in the oven, set it out on top of oven to cool for 15 minutes before serving. This will let the juices flow to the middle of your chicken, which will make it taste better.

 

Fried Green BeansThis turns a can of green beans into a side dish that is just delish!

Shortcut DanishQuick easy and tasty. Put flour in a bowl, add salt and sugar and mix. Then pour the yeast and add the warm water. Let the yeast bubble, add the oil, vanilla, and egg.

 

Onion Soup20 minutes before serving, in a large skillet, over medium heat, cook onions in butter until tender but firm, about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, beat egg yolks, stir in milk, salt, and mace or nutmeg.

 

Endive SoupTake bowl of pre-cooked endives, put in blender with a few scrapings of fresh ginger, squeeze in half an orange, add last drains of a bottle of milk, and blend. Put it all back in the bowl and heat in microwave.

 

Ham with Marsala-Honey GlazeThis recipe is good with a turkey breast, too. Preheat grill for medium heat. Remove rind from ham and score in a diamond pattern with knife. Insert cloves into patterns.

 

Cauliflower And Broccoli CasseroleCook broccoli and cauliflower as directed; drain. Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole, greased with 1/2 cup ketchup and some shredded cheese. Add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup or 1 can cream of celery soup.
