Pumpkin DelightBeat eggs, sugar, milk, pumpkin, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg together. Pour into greased 9x13 inch glass dish. Sprinkle approximately 2 1/2 cups cake mix over top.

 

Earth SandwichIt is a delicious harmonious blend of mouth watering tastes and texture! I like it so much because it's very easy to put together and the taste is such a pleasant surprise.

 

Jalapeno Sour CreamThis may sound wacky to some, but this is very yummy as a topping for baked potatoes and, of course, it's perfect as a condiment for tacos and to dip your tortilla chips in!

 

Garden Deli SandwichCut pita bread in half. Spread cream cheese inside pita bread. Add slices vegetables and sprouts. Makes two half sandwiches or 1 serving.

Buttermilk Challah BreadThis is a bread machine recipe, and it is so easy. I can make 3 large loaves of bread each week with this or 2 loaves of bread and a dozen rolls for dinner on Sunday when I make it.

 

Skillet Beef EnchiladaBrown beef and onion in large skillet, for about 5 minutes. Add beans, broth, and taco mix. Bring to a full boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.

 

Picking Up Roadside LitterPicking up litter during the hot summer months is not my favorite thing to do, but I'm proud of the sections of roadside my husband and I keep clean.

 

Happy Cluckers (Chickens)Our chickens live in our front yard. They like to be by the front gate so they can meet and greet everyone. Their yard is around a giant oak tree, so we feed not only the chickens there but the squirrels, birds, and a rat or two.

 

Krud KutterKrud Kutter will remove the mold overnight! Just spray on the surface and let it stand overnight. I get water in my garage when the rain is heavy and mold forms on the 'dry wall' and the wood frame it sits on. I spray the Krud Kutter on and the next day, mold is gone!

 

Hydrogen PeroxidePlease don't use bleach! It is very caustic. Instead, buy a 32 oz bottle of hydrogen peroxide and buy and empty 32 oz sprayer bottle at Wal Mart. Remove the sprayer head and place on the hydrogen peroxide bottle and spray.

 

Homemade Slip 'N SlideShe spread a tarp out on the lawn, squirted it all over with Dawn dish soap to make it slick, then sprayed it down with water to make it good and wet. The kids were having blast running and sliding on this soapy tarp.

 

Giving Your Cat MedicationWhen my cat needed medication, I learned pretty quickly that none of the tips I'd read worked with him. Get canned cat food with gravy. Open the capsule or crush the pill and mix with the gravy.

Use Junk Mail To Print CouponsI use the unprinted side of paper from ads, bills, and other letters received to copy and print grocery and drug store coupons. Paper that hasn't been printed on either side is saved for important correspondence.

 

Add Lemonade Mix to SodaFor a refreshing, easy drink in the summer. Mix powdered lemonade mix with 7-Up, ginger ale or Sprite. Use the soda instead of water. Mix according to directions on the lemonade, add ice, and enjoy.
