Use Electric Toothbrush to Remove StainsI came across an old electric toothbrush, and when I replaced the batteries, it worked great as a small stain remover when dipped into a stain removing liquid designed for clothes.

 

Fold Pillow Cases TogetherI love this tip that I read in a magazine years ago. When folding sheets and pillow cases, fold BOTH pillow cases that match together. In other words, put both pillow cases together and fold like you are folding one.

 

Duct Tape To Check For InsectsRolled up pieces of duct tape with the sticky side out are an easy way to monitor where insects might be if you do not see them during the day. I like to keep them under the bed, in the bathroom, and in other places where they might be that I don't look often.

 

Sharpen Scissors With Nail FileBefore you throw away that used cardboard finger nail file, use it to sharpen scissors. Take your scissors and cut the file into tiny pieces.

 

Use Shampoo As Body WashIf you have hard water (or not), shower with White Rain Shampoo. It's the cheapest and best lathering shampoo I know of. They have so many great fragrances to choose from.

 

Reuse Dryer Sheets in Different WaysDon't throw away your dryer sheets after you've used them, stick them in your linen cabinets, underwear drawer, or where ever you want to have a nice scent!

 

Still Trying To Be FrugalI have been at my new job for 4 months now and I have had my days reduced to 3 days a week from 5. I am not a happy bunny but as the job is pants, its forcing me to look for something else, which is good.

Sand Wood With CardboardBetween coats of stain, I told my daughter to sand with cardboard, since we had no steel wool in the house. Between coats, it is desirable to just use a little bit of abrasion to knock down any highs to make it satin smooth. It worked perfectly!

 

Natural Treatment for Dry HandsI apply white vinegar and glycerin blended liquid to both hands, even dry part of body, the result is much better and quicker. Not only both hands feel better moisturized, they are safe for kids.
