Toy Box PlanterOn a recent drive around town I saw this fun planter in someone's yard. They used a Little Tikes football toy box, which I frequently see at yard sales and thrift stores. Drill some drainage holes in the bottom and you have a durable planter for your flowers.
Fabric Door SilencerMaking it out of my son's room when he was sleeping was always a challenge. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried, the door latch would make too much noise. After seeing some ideas online, I created this fabric latch silencer. It works really well and its cute too!
Recycled Metal Yard ArtWhile driving around our neighborhood we came across these neat metal sculptures. They appeared to be made out of various tanks and pipes. The person was at least 6 ft. tall and the snowman was a little smaller. They were super neat and made we wish I knew how to weld. :)

John Deere Mower Won't Start?I have a John Deere mower with a 19.5 Briggs that won't start. It is model 31P677. It is not getting any gas from carb. I replaced the carb gasket and needle valve, pulled apart and cleaned all ports, adjusted valves in 4 ex 6, and it still won't start. Any ideas?
Saving Mixed Hair Dye?I colour my hair at home and it comes out OK. I am colouring to hide grey. I am still on semi permanent. I kept the bottle of mixed product in my cupboard with the intention of doing a little touch up in about 3-4 weeks.
