My Little Shade GardenI had a small area with a small flowering tree and decided under that tree I could make a pretty little shade garden. It is fading this time of year, but will get a redo in spring!

 

Homemade Stainless Steel CleanerMix 1/4 cup vinegar, 2 tbsp baking soda and 1/8 cup hydrogen peroxide. Add 4-6 cups hot water. Use a clean cloth. Dip cloth in solution and wring out, leaving cloth a little sloppy. Wipe down stainless steel with cloth. Allow to sit a minute. Wipe down with a dry cloth. Then wipe with a microfiber cloth.

Pom Pom GarlandIt is hard to believe that the base of this pretty pom pom garland is a tissue roll centre. It is easy to make and children can join in.

 

Pistachio and Cream SalmonI love this salmon recipe. It takes such little effort to make this completely gourmet dish. The crunchiness of the pistachios atop the cream sauce covered fish will make you go "Mmm!" every bite. You can always swap out the pistachios with any type of nut and it will still work brilliantly.

Caring for a Puppy With Parvo?My 4 month old puppy was diagnosed with parvo today. He started acting funny late on Wednesday and by Friday was vomiting bright yellow and just laying around not eating. The vet said he has parvo and worms. They gave him an antibiotic shot and worm medicine and sent us home with IV and other med.

 

Kenmore Ice Maker Has Ice Freezing to Assembly?My ice maker makes ice, but frequently one or more cubes will stay on top of the assembly and not drop into the bin. If I don't catch them, they freeze to the assembly and stop the ice-making process. I have to take the entire assembly out of the freezer, defrost and reinstall it to start the process again.

 

Using Retin A with a DermaWand?I am aware that using the DermaWand and Retin A together might be harsh to the skin. Is it possible to apply Retin A after the use of the DermaWand, say with a 30 minutes interval? Or use the DermaWand in the morning and Retin A in the evening?

Singer 7465 Sewing Machine Displays Code 88?I have a Singer 7465 digital sewing machine that shows 88 in the stitch selection screen and stops sewing. I totally cleaned the bobbin race, case, and lightly oiled this area. I put it all back together and it sewed for about 30 minutes on straight stitch, then stopped running.

 

Dog Pees and Poops Inside When Alone?I have a 10 month old puppy that has separation anxiety. I just rescued her 3 months ago. We have 3 other dogs that are older than her. She has eaten every dog cot we had along with an entire couch and she pees and poops when we are gone and when we go to bed even though she can go out 24/7.

 

Puppy Losing Hair and Has Red Spots?He is 6 months old and has been having this skin issue for awhile now. He loses hair in patches and is left with red bold spots after. It's mostly on the back and leg area. I've showered him and he is tick and flea free. I've done some research, but still am not sure what it is.

 

Avocado Tree Leaves Dying?3 weeks ago my 1 year old avocado tree was hit by a wind storm that almost uprooted it. Since then, I moved it indoors, where it spent its first winter, last year. More recently, about 1 week ago, part of its leaves, mainly the oldest, but also some of the younger ones began to turn dark and dry.

Sewing Machine Make and Model?The face plate is missing on my machine and the only # I have found is J-A3 4493. It looks close to the 1959 Brother Galaxie 230. This one has a zigzag stitch and is a very heavy machine. I just need to know the make and model. The belt broke and I need to find the model# to replace the belt.

 

Troy-Bilt Riding Mower Won't Restart?I used my Troy-Bilt riding mower to cut the grass and mulch some leaves. I tried to keep debris off the top of the mower deck, but there was plenty that had gathered there by the time I took a break and blew it off the mower. When I tried to start the mower again, all I get is some clicking.
