Vaseline for Preventing Hair Dye StainsOkay guys, I have been using black dye for 5+ years now and I always get covered in it, but NO MORE! Before applying, clip hairline back, and cover your face and neck entirely in Vaseline. Put on hands and arms before wearing gloves. Even hours after, a warm soapy cloth washed over stained areas, and VOILA! Gone from anywhere that's human skin.

Decorating Old WindowsYou can purchase old windows or scavenge from neighborhood trash days. I used Dollar Store glass gems to decorate. They come in all colors. GE Silicone II was used to place each gem. Now I hang it on my screen porch and the sun hits the glass and illuminates the gems.
Reusing Plastic JarsWe all recycle jars, bottles, cans, and boxes every single week and I'm always trying to think of a way to re-use these items around the house. I have found several uses for clear plastic mayo jars.
Creating Painted RocksI live in Arbutus, MD. We have a group of, I don't know how many, people painting rocks and placing them everywhere, schools, stores, the library, in people's yards, or in front of mail boxes. The mail box at my building is going to get the big one as I'm not strong enough to tote it somewhere.
Use Old Storage Racks In Your GardenEveryone has old shelves and racks that they have bought to use in their garage. From time to time the racks get old and you replace them with new ones. Instead of throwing them away use them in your garden. The racks in the garden will give you more space for your plants. You can arrange the racks at the back of your garden next to the fence. This way you have plenty of room to add your plants.
Witch Spider Pumpkin Home DecorMy daughter loves spiders so I thought this would be a cute craft to make together to display in our home. All the items I used were saved from last year's after Halloween 90% off sale. This kept the cost at less than $2.00 to make the decoration, with the addition of items we already had at home!

Unclogging a ToiletThe best tip that I have heard is about how to unplug your toilet. I don't know about you, but to me a plugged toilet is the worst. Who wants to deal with peoples' ... output. I'm always afraid of it flooding over on to my bathroom floor. No fun!
Pork and Mung Bean GuisadoPork shanks and hocks are my mom's favorite part. These are best parts for sinigang (pork in sour broth). Here's another dish that we also love to have during dinner.
Cancer: Health Isn't The Only Price You PayHearing a doctor tell you the hard truth, that you have cancer, takes your breath away. Identifying a Tiny Brown Bug?I found this single bug walking on the bed after I came home from college classes. I am freaking out because it looked like a bed bug to me. I checked the entire bed/edges mattress and bed wood box, but didn't spot any more nor signs of infestation. Could I have carried it from school since I threw my bag on the floor? Or maybe when I went to walk my dog? Can they easily spread?
Value of an Antique Table?I have an antique wood extension table with stowable fold out legs on a square base of which features metal trim. It has two leaves and on the hardware of the legs it says "made in England". On a few of the other rusty metal hardware pieces it looks like it is engraved in cursive "vercsh"? I think it is tiny. I have asked about it before, but am adding additional photos hoping that will help.

The next day fruit flies were born and the smell became unbearable.
