Walk Safely on Slippery AreasWhen dealing with ice or any type of slippery areas, just remember rubber bands. Take some rubber bands and place them around your shoes from the toes to the heels. Just make sure they're snug but not cutting off circulation. When you walk, the rubber bands will give you extra traction on any surface. Sewing Machine Stitches Too Short?I have a Brother CS6000i. Its about one year old. The stitches are 1/2 mm too short. It was working just fine and then when I went to do a zigzag stitch, I noticed it wasn't right. I took the machine apart, cleaned it VERY WELL, which it wasn't bad to begin with, but a good cleaning always helps, except in this case.

Cover Up for Bad Caulking Job?I live in a condo and have an outside balcony with sliding glass doors. The outside area (around the very top of the doors) has about a 6 foot line of "very chunky and thick" yellow caulking running across it.
