Taco Quilt BlockI found a picture of a taco quilt block design but didn't want to buy the pattern, so I made one similar. I figured it out as I went along but I think it turned out very similar. It was later made into a hot pad for a friend who is obsessed with tacos.
Information About Small Bear Figurine?Hi all, this little bear is over 100 years old and belonged to my wife's mother. He is 140mm tall with vestigial legs and arms and glass eyes. We only know of one other and that is in Pollacks Toy Museum in London but they could not identify it, so any information would be very welcome.
When a Birthday and Current Year Are The Same?What do you call a birthday where the day you were born and the current year are the same? I don't believe that this is the same thing as a golden birthday because that involves the day you were born and the day of the month being the same. This situation I am inquiring about is when the day you were born and this year are the same. For example, you were born on the 22nd and the year is 2022.
Repairing a Corona Typewriter?I have a Corona Galaxy 12 Typewriter. My V key stick is disconnected from the hitter itself. I have tried to fix it using tweezers but it is getting annoying and difficult. If anyone knows of any shops that can fix it up near Norfolk Virginia USA please let me know.
