My soon to be 12 year old is wanting a party. She wants to invite a handicapped 12 year old friend. I need ideas on what type of parties we can do. We live in Washington.

You need to find an activity the friend can enjoy. If she is in a wheelchair, she can participate in bowling and even dancing. I would avoid skating She can enjoy a movie and all the food.
When my daughters (twins) turned 12 they were just starting to get interested in makeup and, of course, didn't want to listen to Mom saying that light and natural is best. I had a friend who sold Mary Kay and since I was a customer, she agreed to come and do a "make-up party" for the girls where they got their own sample tray with a mirror and she taught them how to apply blush and eyeshadow.
