My birthday is on the 29th of December; I'm turning 14. There is just nothing to do because it's cold. We were going to go to an escape room, but my mom said I can only take 1 person because of how expensive it is and it's no fun with just 2 people! My mom suggested the cinema, but we did that last year! Got any ideas?

It is the holiday season
Step 1
Caroling
Step 2
Wrap presents for children in hospital and visit them
Step 3
Skating
There are fun and inexpensive ways to have a party at home like a tie dye party. You can buy packages of white tee shirts for very little, get from most grocery or big box stores like Walmart a few boxes of color dye (maybe red and green for the holiday theme), add buckets, water and rubber bands and you can have fun and you and your guests get a nice memento of your special day!!
Here's a how to video if you have never done this before:

Be blessed and have a lovely day!!!
it depends on how many people, IE if 5 or less then you could plan an excursion to a nearby city to see the sights
you could also go to an ice skating rink
if you're feeling like doing something meaningful you could have a party volunteering at a local food drive or homeless shelter. I know, not very glamorous, but an eye opening for how bad some people have it this time of year.
and there's always the good old fashined movie-pizza-sleepover deal. That never really gets old I dont' think
Sleepovers with movies and pizza is a great way to have fun when it's cold and there's a budget involved :)
