My 14th birthday is on August 9th, and I'm having maybe 6-9 girls. I don't really want to do anything babyish or with my parents - nothing too simple either. I have a few idea like ice-skating and movies, but it's something they've all done before and maybe wanted to try something a little different. Can anyone help me?
Thanks I appreciate it so much! xx

How about a Mani/Pedi Party, A Cooking/Baking Party, Crafting/Art Party, Cookout with fun water games!
I am not sure if they still have stores set up in your area for painting shirts. I took my daughter to one of these stores and allowed her and her friend to spend the afternoon there for her birthday painting their own shirts. They had all kinds of things the kids to do there. After they want in the mall to have ice cream and cake and do some other shopping around.
With the health crisis we have had this year- I believe it is risky behavior to take groups of people anywhere in public. This has nothing to do with age. Its dangerous for everyone. Think about having your party make a few custom face masks, and also have a makeup party and tips for your eyes- they are now the focus of your face, with masks taking up most of your face. Your 14th birthday means you are now a young woman, and no longer a kid.
Happy early birthday! Leo is a strong birth sign and you are wished a lifetime of happiness!
Not sure where you are located so planning a party now for several months in advance may be a challenge as you don't know if you will be allowed to have groups gather or if other parents will allow their kids to go even if it is "safe".
I suggest finding several options to help so you won't be disappointed.
For in person events, you could have a whole summer fun series party with inexpensive summer fruits, a light cake like angel food with icing and for fun you could take buckets of water with dyes and make tie dye tee shirts. All you need are white tees which you can often get very inexpensively at big box stores or online, rubber bands, and the dye. There are a ton of YouTube how to videos if you have never done these fun shirts before.
For a stay at home party where you can't have people in, maybe you can do a Zoom or Google party where you all do something together---like play games on the computer or sing or dance or just chat.
You could theoretically all tie dye at the same time--you could pack up its to deliver to each home and then dye the shirts together.
Another option is to plan yourself a birthday car parade where you and your friends (parents driving of course) could all drive around and honk horns and wave and celebrate your birthday in a parade form.
There are many ways to be creative in uncertain times!
Whatever you decide, enjoy and be blessed!!
