if it's a daytime party, you could go to the Great Plains Zoo or the Washington Pavilion of Arts an Sciences. If you're more into a more 'youthful' experience, you can find a local skating rink or bowling alley.

With 3-4 people you can spend more per person. Japanese chefs have such a fun way of prepaing food. They do it in front of you and do all sorts of amazing things with the knives.
