Even though in January it may be cold to swim, most hotels have heated pools, or you can have a jacuzzi spa.
Are you renting our a hotel room and hosting your party there, or an actual hall? For hotel parties, you could do a girls night (do each others hair, nails) while watching movies.

A hotel sounds great, the possibilities are endless.
- Decorate using your favourite colors; balloons, linens, cutlery, plates etc.
- Choose a theme like a movie party with popcorn and movie candy, bottles of coke.
- Get a popcorn machine. Get a big steel bucket from the Dollar store put popcorn in it, supply paper bags, and have about 5 smaller buckets with candy in them. Then everyone can serve themselves.
- Go to momof6.com for free printables for 100 truth or dare questions. Put them in a jar and everyone has to pick one and keep going until they're all gone.
- Play the lap game. Go to postris.com for rules on the game. Have a few prizes.
- You could do a spa party facials, manicures, pedicures as well as movie night. You could do facials while watching the movie. Have the other girls bring their nail stuff and share polish. Do nail designs.
- Have a DIY photo booth with props like glasses, jewelry etc.
- The movie theme could be done at home as well where they sleep over and watch girl movies. Like Titanic, The Notebook, Pretty Woman.
- You could do an icecream bar, put ice cream in mason jars on ice, supply lots of toppings like smarties, whip cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles.
- You can do a hot chocolate bar with marshmallows,whip cream, candy sticks.
- Serve pizza, spaghetti, or do tacos with lots of toppings.
