You don't mention if this is going to be a girl/boy party or all of girls or boys...so I will give you one of my favorite suggestions for anyone...which is to have a fun tie dye party!!
I love tie dye and you can buy inexpensive white shirts sometimes even at the dollar store or Walmart and a few boxes of dye. Use buckets your family has around the house, add water and rubber bands to create neat designs! Everyone gets do do a fun activity and go home with a nice shirt!!
This video shows super easy ways to do this if you have never done it before! It can be very fun and a little messy so be sure to protect all of the surfaces that you are working on or if it is nice weather where you are, you can do it outside.

You could get colorful cupcakes from the grocery store to have for dessert and celebrate everyone special day!
