I'm turning 14 soon and I have no idea what I what to do or what I want for gifts or what cake I want. I just don't know. What should I do for my birthday and what presents and cake should I get? I'm very limited on money so there is that too. I need to know before the 14th of February.

I would have a nice Valentines Day lunch. Accept graciously any gifts you receive. People will buy what they can afford and what they think you will like.
You do not have to throw a birthday party if you do not want to. You can save that money that was going to be for a party for something else.
One thing I wish I knew when I was younger was to not buy quantity but a quality product that I would cherish and use. :)
You can do a simple party with couple friends over, watch a movie and have pizza and a nice simple cake.

Birthdays are to be enjoyed and not stressed over. I am concerned that you are so anxious about it all. Have you talked your parents or a special adult in your world about this stress?
Perhaps you and your mom or dad or grandparent could work together to plan you something special and fun! Turning 14 especially if it is 14 on the 14th should be special and you deserve to have a lovely day that makes you smile!!!

It is great that you are having a birthday soon! Do you have a favorite movie or book you could use as a theme? If you have a color you like especially well, this could go into the theme of the party also.
If you decide to theme your party on a specific movie, you can match your cake to the movie.
