I am about to turn 14 on June 7th, but I have my 8th grade prom that day, so I wanna do something the next day. I do not know what to do. I can do a party on my backyard, but it is not that big and I don't like that people are gonna know where I live. I want to do a party with like 50 people. I can rent a house, but I'm not gonna pay like $500. I wanna invite boys and girls, so what should I do?

If I were concerned about someone knowing where I live, I wouldnt invite them to my party. Invite your close friends to your home. Have a barbecue and then open gifts. Make it a few hours, not too long.
Renting a house would be costly.
How about hanging out at the bowling alley? Have pizza and bowl?
Happy 14th birthday! Gemini is a nice birth sign.
How fun to have the prom on your birthday!
When my friend's girls were in Jr. High, the kids used to go to after dance parties at a local hotel that had an indoor pool.
My understanding was if there were so many adults for every so many kids (like 6 adults for every 20 kids), and the adults stayed onsite for the whole party AND paid for the life guard and small fee for the use of the facilities, they could use the pool and deck for 2-3 hours and bring their own food and pop/soda. They said it was a nice thing to do. Now this was probably 10-15 years ago...I would hope these kind of venues are still available.
I don't know if you could do something like that. This way people would not be coming to your house and you could invite boys and girls and the costs would be much less (I would think) than other venues.
I am just curious why you don't want people to know where you live? That is a little worrisome to me. A real friend should be able to know where you live and a not real friend should not be invited to your party party. But that is just me, I am old fashioned that way.
Blessings on your special day!
I am confused about not wanting people to know where you live. Fifty people is a huge amount for a birthday party. Some weddings aren't even that big. How about renting a movie theater? I would love to attend a party held there.
