I'm 14 and my birthday is in 9 days and I need to plan something to do. My mum is quite strict, so no boys will be allowed :( All my friends for their birthdays have gone shopping and I wanted to do something a bit different. If I was to do something I would need to do it on the 16~17th (the weekend) as my actual birthday is on the 19th (Tuesday~ school day). As I have no ideas and I've got to sort something out by the 16th and give people notice I'm in a bit of a pickle (as my mum would say). Please someone come to my rescue!

If I were you, I would invite just a few of your closest friends to go to a restaurant together, and they could spend the night at your house. Since your mom is strict, it would be easier on her if you invite just a few friends preferably ones who she knows. This way, there will be no tension for her about having a lot of people over, and she will be more likely to let you and your friends have fun and give you a little space.
