My son will be 17 in a few weeks, it's the holiday weekend so it's always crowded. He is a reserved child, kind of shy, and we are looking for party ideas for at least 6 guys and 6 girls. Is a Valentine theme too girly for a boy?

A Valentine theme is way too girly for a 17 year old. He will be very embarrassed, even if he doesn't say so! Try bowling and pizza, or pizza and movies at home, and cupcakes seem to be the thing now, instead of a cake.
